Knowledge for sustainable development and corporate responsibility
Hello!
I would like to contribute to a more sustainable economy – for, or with you. As lecturer, researcher, trainer and consultant, I tackle questions and topics such as the following:
- Responsibility and (corporate) sustainability in the Anthropocene, the geological epoch of humankind: What is it and what does it mean?
- Small, compliant and increasingly sustainable: What are regulatory conditions and instruments that enable SMEs to meet formal requirements and improve their performance in terms of sustainability?
- The double materiality analysis: Concept and technique of a new (and potentially revolutionary) requirement for companies
- Measuring the world: developments, opportunities and risks of sustainability rating and reporting
- The ABCs of SDG, CSRD and the like: developments and effects of transnational governance for sustainable development
- Small country, big companies: and what role does Switzerland play in all of this?
Using the diagram for sustainable business conduct shown below, I put these questions and topics into context. By connecting the dots in the big picture, I aim to motivate, empower and support you.
Sincerely,
Dr. Alex Gertschen
