In the spring semester of 2025, I taught a master’s course at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) entitled ‘The Sustainable Development Goals of the UN Agenda 2030: Saving the World and the Market.’ As part of their final exam, the students worked in groups to produce an episode of a fictional podcast. To do this, they each interviewed an expert from the field.
Why am I publishing the podcasts here? Because the interviewees and I thought they were very good overall. And because they make it clear that the Sustainable Development Goals represent a historic consensus and a normative and political compass that we should follow now more than ever.
